2-24-15, 2-25-15, 2-26-15, & 2-27-15

So all the previous snow melted away and now it's snowing again. But hey, spring is only 20 days away, and for that, I'm grateful.

2-24-15: a beautiful sunset to end a beautiful day

2-25-15: The wall art in the youth room at the Methodist Church here in Siloam Springs.

2-26-15: Look at the pretty moon. So pretty. (it's part of my fascination with the sky)

2-27-15: Snowing again here at JBU, and Mary and I were out taking pictures and selfies in it :)

2-21-15, 2-22-15, & 2-23-15: Powdered Sugar

It's been bitterly cold here in Arkansas lately. And the past couple days, a light dusting of powdered sugar fell from the sky (ok, it's really snow..). I like light snow, not blizzard snow. Just enough to look pretty. And then of course, random roommate bonding moments too :)

2-21-15: Sonic Happy Hour with Mary. I got a raspberry vanilla sprite, and Mary got a mango mint sonic splash.

2-22-15: Hiding out under the stairs with Mary by the really cool window (who someone leaned their bike against and cast a really awesome shadow).

2-23-15: Look at the lovely snow (powdered sugar) falling over JBU tonight. Illuminated by the fountain lights and the Cathedral lights.

2-18-15, 2-19-15, 2-20-15

It's been a couple days of weird weather and clouds that part and reveal blue skies. We've had weather that ranges from thunderstorms to freezing drizzle.

2-18-15: Our roses from the Valentines banquet are dying, but they still are pretty because they remind us spring is coming.

2-19-15: I love chasing the sunset, even when it's ridiculously cold and there's still snow on the ground.

2-20-15: Game night with a few friends. Played Deer in the Headlights and Apples to Apples. Good times :)

2-16-15 & 2-17-15

Winter has finally decided to show up and dump about 3.5" of snow on us. It's been too cold to go outside for very long to take pictures. But nevertheless, there are pictures! And of course they are both trees... I kinda like trees :)

2-16-15: Point'n'shoot picture of the snow covered evergreens.

2-17-15: The view out of my dorm window in the winter.

2-13-15, 2-14-15, & 2-15-15

It's been a good couple of days. Lots of time spent inside because I've had lots of homework to do.

2-13-15: Valentine's banquet at our brother dorm with two of my favorite women (Mary (my roommate) and Hannah) :)

2-14-15: abstracts (maybe.. I'm not sure if i should call these abstracts or not) of the roses Mary and I got at the Valentine's banquet.

2-15-15: So it's supposed to snow and sleet and be winter tonight, so I figured I would take pictures outside because it will be too cold to do so tomorrow. The first picture is a weird abstract of my car's taillight. The second picture is an abstract of the soap some dork put in our school's fountain (they have to drain it and clean it now...).

2-11-15 & 2-12-15

I was more motivated this time because it was really pretty (but it was cold) these past couple days.

2-11-15: SPRING IS COMING!!!!!

2-12-15: The sky was spectacular today, and I was outside freezing taking these pictures, but they were worth it!

2-8-15, 2-9-15, 2-10-15

Guys , I think I'm starting to slack off... I need to find some prompts to use instead of relying on something wonderful popping up out of nowhere.

2-8-15: My little tree lamp that I love (got it from Hobby Lobby)

2-9-15: The Cathedral of the Ozarks

2-10-15: In the last light of day, the towering fortress reaches high and hopes that the sun will return tomorrow.

2/3/15 - 2/7/15

I've been quite busy with school and life here lately, and just haven't posted any pictures. Sorry for those of you who are following diligently. Here's the most recent pictures :)

2-3-15: My first attempt at a time lapse photo stack thing as inspired by photographer Matt Malloy. Look him up :)

2-4-15: My wonderful roommate helped me with this picture by lending her hand as a model haha

2-5-15: My grandparents came to visit! I hadn't seen them since I graduated HS in 2012

2-6-15: I went home for the weekend and couldn't resist taking pictures of my adorable cat Bella, who is the queen of the house (quite literally I might add, because a female cat is a queen). Stormmi is just the princess (and she takes this title very seriously).

2-7-15: The gallery opening for "Blue Ribbon Beauty". Top picture is myself and the three other photographers participating in the gallery. Bottom is my best friend who I hadn't seen in person since new years.

2-1-15 & 2-2-15: The living water fountain

I love the flowing water of JBU's fountain that was dedicated last April. I have taken many pictures of it, and on warm days, I have sat on the side with my feet in it's cool waters.

2-1-15: Wind chill was probably in the single digits when I took this picture. Adjustable ND filter at almost max power for a three second exposure on a bitterly cold and windy day.

2-2-15: Remember that single digit wind chill I just mentioned. Yeah, well it froze the fountain and made the ground surrounding it and giant sheet of ice.
