September 20-27

I'm caught up to a decent place now. So hopefully I won't get so behind on editing and posting images. This project has been super fun especially with trying out new techniques and effects.

9-20-15: Experimented a little with "free-lensing" today. It's where the image is shot without the lens being attached to the camera, but held close enough to the body to still capture a unique image. One can achieve a tilt-shift effect by slightly angling the lens. This effect can be seen here as there is a clear "bar" where everything inside the bar is in focus.

9-21-15: The sunset was awesome. You could practically see where God's brush strokes were.

9-22-15: What is more abstract and country than a silhouette of barbwire and a sunset?

9-23-15: If you haven't noticed, I've been stuck in the abstract stage here lately. This is the rings on a spiral bound notebook.

9-24-15: Free-lensing again :)

9-25-15: My roommate and I took a couple pics in preparation for invisible illness awareness week. It starts the 28th of September and goes through October 4th. She and I both have invisible illnesses that most people don't realize.

9-26-15: Abstract of the Cathedral of the Ozarks.

9-27-15: I will be sad when all the flowers die for the winter.

9-27-15: A Super Blood Moon Eclipse. Say what?

September 13-19

I'm slowly catching up on editing and posting. It's been a crazy couple of weeks. This past week I had three papers due, totaling over 10 pages. It was insane. But things have calmed down a tiny bit. So here's the images from 9-13 - 9-19.

9-13-15: Dandelions are slowly disappearing with the approaching colder weather.

9-14-15: a walk down to to the creek with the roommate to relax a little bit.

9-15-15: an abstract of an evergreen tree.

9-16-15: I bet you'll never guess what this is... (it's a lamp covered in tiny bits of broken mirror pieces)

9-17-15: If you're like me, and you hate the cold, then you learn to cherish all the warm days with being outside and bike rides in the evening.

9-18-15: Cone flowers are fading away.

9-19-15: Another relaxing walk to the creek.

Orphan Car Show, Branson MO 9-12-15

There was a car show in Branson MO that my parents decided to drive up for. Why? Because like 90% of the cars there were Studebakers, which are mine and dad's favorites. And on top of that, my grandfather worked in the Studebaker factory during the '40s-'50s. Not all of these pictures will count towards the 365 project because there are so many of them. So enjoy a step back in time...

9-5 through 9-11

Slowly I'm catching up on editing and updating. It's been a crazy couple of weeks with school and work and piano practice. Still working on finding that "perfect" rhythm and schedule that still lets me goof off and hang out while still getting everything done.

9-5-15: Never know what random antiques you'll find when you're out and about. This happens to be an old glass bottle opener.

9-6-15: Blue skies, great friends and Sonic. What else could you want?

9-7-15: I think fall is trying to sneak in a little early...

9-8-15: Stormy and rainy days make me want to curl up and hide for the day. I've always had anxiety when it comes to storms.

9-9-15: Make me breathe a sigh of relief.

9-10-15: This beast (ha, not really) is taking up lots of time this semester. But that's what it takes to get better at something you love.

9-11-15: Kaitlin and I got to hang out for the first time in a long time. And we made smoothies that were the thickness of soft serve ice cream hahahaha

Aug 30- Sept 4

With school and work and internship stuff, I've gotten behind on both editing and posting. Here's about a week's worth of images.

8-30-15: Internship photo shoot at this gorgeous place.

8-31-15: JBU! My second home (or so it seems :))

9-1-15: Nothing like a sunset walk to wipe away stress.

9-2-15: Abstract of what?

(a clock tower)

9-3-15: Why does it seem that I'm always finding little froggies? Are they my prince charming in disguise? Haha

9-4-15: Coming Soon to a City Near You: Fall.
